Privacy Policy

This site (cosmo.dyslecix.dev) is the marketing and documentation home for the Cosmo template. It is operated by Christian Demesa as an individual ("we", "us"). The site is static — no accounts, no forms, no comments, no advertising — and we collect as little as technically possible.

Cookies and local storage

We do not set any cookies. We use two localStorage entries — theme to remember your light or dark mode preference, and motion to remember whether you have paused animations. Both values are only ever read and written locally in your browser, never sent to a server, and not used to identify you.

Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) for hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare Pages), cookieless web analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics), and cookieless real user monitoring of page performance (Cloudflare Observatory). As a result, Cloudflare processes on our behalf:

• Standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, and timestamp — to deliver content, cache responses, and protect the site against abuse.
• Aggregated, anonymized analytics such as page URL, referrer, approximate country, and browser/device type. No fingerprinting; no cross-site tracking.
• Anonymized performance metrics for the page you loaded — Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), navigation timing (TTFB, FCP), connection type, and approximate country.

We do not maintain our own server-side request logs, databases, or analytics stores. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how it handles data as a processor.

International data transfers

The site is served from Cloudflare's global network, and request data may be processed by Cloudflare in the United States and in other countries where Cloudflare operates. If you are visiting from the EU/EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, this transfer is conducted under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as part of Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum.

Legal basis for processing (EU/UK GDPR)

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) as the legal basis for the limited processing described above — specifically, our interest in delivering the site reliably, keeping it secure, and understanding aggregate usage and performance. Because we use no cookies or other identifiers that would require consent for these purposes, no consent banner is shown.

Data retention

We do not retain any personal data ourselves. Data Cloudflare processes on our behalf is retained according to Cloudflare's own retention policies. If you contact us by email, that correspondence remains in our email inbox until we delete it.

Your rights (EU/UK GDPR)

If the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object with respect to data processed on our behalf. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (your national data protection authority in the EU, or the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK). Email contact

If you contact us by email, your message and email address are processed by Google LLC as our email provider (Gmail). Google's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.
